Next Generation's Heroes

A concept for a sort of time skip/sequel to Sir Steve and Company, taking place about ten years after the current story.

Prince Lucas is the 7 year old son of now King Sir Steve(you read that right) and Queen Blair. Lucas believes himself both a knight and a prince by blood and spirit, throwing himself into any fray and trying to take charge of said fray. Idolizes his father, and seeks to emulate him. He believes that status trumps age, and that he should be in charge.

Mina is an 11 year old apprentice witch, studying under Edwin the Beardless. Mina is more upbeat than her mentor, but a huge know it all, partly to make up for not being much of a looker. Still in training, her magic is a crapshoot mix of success and embarrassing failure. She and Edwin now live in the castle, after Edwin was appointed as the royal advisor. She believes age trumps status, and that she should be in charge.
